The Artistic Bridge Gala Art Competition

Please read the following terms carefully before registering for the Artistic Bridge Gala Art Competition.

1. Eligibility

Open to students aged 4 to 17 years old from early years to secondary level.

2. Theme

All artworks must reflect the competition theme: "Bridging Culture – Unity in Diversity."

3. Artwork Requirements

Medium: Any 2D medium (e.g., pencil, crayon, watercolor, acrylic).
Size: Must be created on A3-sized paper.
Each participant may submit one (1) artwork only.

4. Originality

Submissions must be original and created solely by the participant. Plagiarized or copied work will be disqualified.

5. Artwork Submission (Physical Delivery)

All artworks must be submitted physically to the organizer’s designated address (to be provided after registration). Participants must arrange their own delivery using a logistics provider of their choice. We recommend using J&T Express for reliable and trackable service.
Artworks must be completely dry before packaging and delivery to prevent smudging or damage.
Please ensure artworks are securely packaged to avoid any bending or mishandling during transit. Recommended packaging method:
o Cover the front of the artwork with a layer of wax paper
o Insert the artwork into a flat envelope or folder
o Place the envelope inside a logistics waterproof flyer for mailing

On the back of the artwork, clearly label the following information:
o Artist’s full name
o Age
o Artwork title
o Registration number

The organizer will not be held responsible for any artwork that is lost, delayed, or damaged during delivery. Only ONE submission per participant is allowed. If more than one artwork is received from the same participant, the organizer reserves the right to select one artwork at their discretion for judging. No replacement or re-submission will be accepted after the artwork has been delivered. Participants are advised to keep a photographic copy of their artwork for personal records before mailing.

6. Use of Artwork for Promotion

By submitting their artwork, participants grant the organizers the right to use, reproduce, and display the submitted works for promotional, educational, and non-commercial purposes, including in print and digital media.

7. Registration Policy

Once registration is completed, no withdrawals or refunds will be allowed.

8. Deadlines

All entries must be submitted before the stated deadline. Late entries will not be accepted.

The Book of Worlds: Lost Pages

By purchasing event tickets with Universal Edu Centre Sdn Bhd (UEC), you (the Purchaser) agree to be bound by the Terms & Conditions of sale specified here in and any other provision as may be specified from time to time.

  1. Prices are quoted in Ringgit Malaysia.
  2. All ages required a ticket for admission.
  3. NO CANCELLATION, REFUND or ticket EXCHANGE allowed once the ticket is sold.
  4. The complimentary ticket shall not be resold or offered for sale. UEC reserve the right to confiscate those complimentary tickets.
  5. Food & drinks are not allowed in the event venue.
  6. UEC reserves the right to act against any person who breaches any of the above terms and conditions.
  7. Upon confirmation of your order for tickets, no exchange of tickets will be made under any circumstances and tickets are not transferable and may not be resold.
  8. UEC shall be entitled, but not obliged, to conduct verification checks on any order, and shall be entitled to rescind the order if such verification checks reveal any fraud or other irregularity in the order.
  9. No refund on tickets will be made under any circumstances except pursuant to conditions under Event Cancellation or Postponement.
  10. UEC reserves the right to postpone, cancel, interrupt, or stop the event due to adverse weather, dangerous situations, or any other causes beyond his reasonable control.
  11. The ticket buyer/holder shall be responsible for all tickets after they have been redeemed, LOST or DAMAGED ticket will not be entertained.
  12. The tickets may be collected at the registration/ticket counter of the venue on the date of the event 2 hours before the beginning of the event. Purchaser MUST present your order details in soft/hard copy upon ticket collection. The identity of the person receiving the ticket(s) may be recorded by our Officers.
  13. No third-party collection allowed unless Authorization Letter, photocopy credit card that made the payment and credit card holder’s NRIC / passport is issued by the Purchaser and presented to events.huaxia.edu.my upon ticket collection. Failing to produce any of these documents, events.huaxia.edu.my reserved the rights of not releasing the ticket.
  14. All tickets must be collected within the time periods stipulated for your chosen delivery method. No refunds will be made for uncollected tickets.
  15. Entry will be refused if tickets have not been purchased from UEC.
  16. The resale of tickets at the same or any price more than the initial purchase price is prohibited. UEC reserves the right to cancel any tickets that have been resold and to deny any such Ticket Holder entry.
  17. We reserve the right without refund or compensation to refuse admission to any persons whose conduct is disorderly or unbecoming.
  18. Entry to the Venue will be subject to the Venue’s prevailing terms and conditions of entry.
  19. UEC may use the ticket holder’s image or likeness in any live or recorded video display, photograph, or picture.
  20. Latecomers cannot be admitted until a suitable break during the performances.
  21. The Ticket Holder agrees to submit to any search for any prohibited items including but not limited to weapons, controlled, dangerous and illegal substances.
  22. Information is collected from those registering with us to facilitate ticket purchase or other services available. This information is collected and used in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these conditions.
  23. The Ticket Holder voluntarily assumes all risk and danger incidental to the Event whether occurring prior to, during or after the actual Event, including any death, personal injury, loss, damage, or liability.
  24. If an event is postponed or cancelled, a Postponement Publicity Notice or a Cancellation Publicity Notice (collectively, the” Notices” or individually, a” Notice”) respectively shall be placed in the Facebook.
  25. The Notices shall advise procedures for requesting a refund and the period and time within which the ticket holder could request a refund.
  26. Refund will not be entertained if a request for a refund is made after the given period from the date of a Notice. Such unfunded sums shall be dealt with at UEC’s sole discretion.
  27. Tickets purchased shall be refunded by online transfer, refunds will have to be made at the UEC located 3rd Floor, Wisma Huazong, Lot 15285, 0.7KM Lebuhraya Sungai Besi, 43300 Seri Kembangan, Selangor, Malaysia during our office operating hours. Ticket Holders will have to produce the full stub of the original tickets in good condition to claim refunds. Ticket Holder shall submit a front photocopy NRIC to facilitate with the bank info.
